Our working process
Configuration
Configuring a general aviation engine with Continental Aerospace Technologies™ or Superior Air Parts® begins with a detailed consultation to fully understand the aircraft, mission profile, and operator requirements. Our team works closely with you to define the correct engine specification, including power output, accessories, ignition systems, and any optional upgrades. Once the configuration is finalised, Adams Aviation will provide a formal quotation and lead time, which typically ranges from 6 to 16 weeks depending on the build complexity and OEM production schedules. Orders can be placed directly through our sales team via email or phone, with full support provided throughout the process to ensure clarity, accuracy, and complete confidence in the final specification.
Shipping
Once the order is confirmed, Adams Aviation coordinates directly with the OEM to manage production and delivery, removing the complexity typically associated with international shipping. We take care of the entire process - from export documentation and customs clearance to import handling and final delivery - eliminating the hassle for the customer. Engines are shipped under controlled, fully traceable conditions, either routed through our facility for inspection and documentation or delivered directly to site, depending on your preference. With Adams Aviation managing the logistics, customers can focus on operations, confident that their engine will arrive efficiently, compliantly, and ready for installation.
